By Jon F Greene

We are all experienced diets in one form or another. For years, for most diets, conventional wisdom says that diet and exercise go together. We are indoctrinated to believe that you cannot have one without the other. For most diets that is true. However, the hCG injection diet is like no other in a number of ways.

In this article, we will discuss the roles of diet and exercise for those on the hCG injection diet. When we discuss exercise as it relates to the hCG injection diet, we talk about exercise in the strictest sense of the word, however, the more appropriate term would be increased activity.

So let?s cover the proper form of exercise for the hCG injection diet. As mentioned before, the hCG diet is not dependent upon burning excess calories to lose weight. Yet, it is also a misnomer to think that the diet requires no exercise at all. The hCG injection diet is as much about preparing the patient for success after the diet as it is about losing weight.

Exercise can come as part of maintenance after the goal weight has been reached. With that goal in mind, let?s review some tips and guidelines for increased activity during your hCG injection diet.

Patients, who are longtime sufferers from obesity, are much more likely to live a sedentary lifestyle. Increased daily activity is a concept that must be reinforced. Exercise, as we know it in the traditional sense, can come as part of your maintenance phase after reaching the goal weight. With that goal in mind, let us review some tips and guidelines for increased activity during your hCG injection diet.

The principle here, is more about increased activity, and how that activity plays a vital role in your new lifestyle. So here are some tips and guidelines for exercise during your hCG injection diet. If, while on the diet, you are so inclined as to exercise, moderation is the rule of the day.Aerobic activity such as walking a track or chair aerobics should be engaged for only 10 minutes at a time, four times a week.

These activities would include walking, riding a bike, swimming or light water play. Do not engage in any one activity for more than 10 minutes at a time. For example, walk for 10 minutes, then cool down, and then repeat, increasing only as your stamina increases.

This type of low-level activity will help you maintain your metabolism as it changes. If you experience dizziness or shortness of breath, or inability to maintain an optimal amount of energy to get you through your day; stop exercising immediately and inform your physician of the issues.

Listen to your body and do all things in moderation. Moderation is to become a major part of your new lifestyle. Remember, check with your hCG injection diet attending physician before engaging in any form of exercise and extra activities. He or She will verify that your health allows you to exercise while on the diet. Once you reach your target weight, you and the doctor can decide how to proceed from there.
